Hartel Shipping & Chartering B.V. was founded December 1990 by John Hartman and John Brobbel with both having more than 20 years of experience in chartering business. Hartel started purely as brokering company, then after approximately 5 years it was noticed that there was a need of vessels between Continent and East Mediterranean, able to handle breakbulk and especially Project Material.
