Nesec provides subordinated (2nd priority mortgage backed) loans to shipowners. Our funding arrangements are structured such, that banks consider these loans as liable capital of a shipowner. In specific transactions Nesec participates direct in the equity of ships as a co-owner. Sometimes this occurs by way of a preferred equity position.
